2025 - TEAM AZZARITO vs TEAM GKOPP

• Team Azzarito jumped out to a massive lead taking all but one match in the opening round of combined score. The lone with for Gkopp came in his own group, buoyed by a miracle round from Burg (22 handicap shooting his first bogey on hole 7, and finishing with a smooth 1 over on the front... sure guy, sure). The afternoon round didn't prove to be much better for team Gkopp as the score after day 1 was 18-6. Azzarito's team handled the singles matches in the morning on friday just well enough to get them over the hump of 24 and officially take the Hops Cup. The 4th round became a match to pay for dinner instead and Azzarito's team defintely treated it as such, losing every match but 1, where they pushed. Neil also put in a hole in one on #12 which resulted in alcohol being poured down everyone's throat for the remainder of the afternoon. Another epic Hops in the books.

• The Drunkest Man Award was a toss up between Mr Wride and Mr DuCharme. Joe tried to give a speech about salt being a protein at dinner, followed by not being able to physically walk into the hotel without me dragging his weekend at bernies ass, And Neil literally stripped to his undies and jumped in the pond on 18. Were gonna give it to both this year as they more than earned it.
